Shawn Maranan (right) of Sisler High School was named to the AAAA All-Manitoba team on Sat., April 14 at the Basketball Manitoba awards.

 

The Blizzards Basketball club, featuring Grade 8 players from Transcona and surrounding area, recently took home silver medals at the Grand AM 2018 tournament in Grand Forks, N.D

Junior GrandAM Tournament 2018 is still one of COMPETETIVE tournament with total 331 team (129 Girls, 202 Boys). We have 3 team representing our club (Two- 14U & 15U team), overall its great experience. Tough tough competition, every game is playoff type game. We are all proud of our boys and their efforts to keep their game alive!!! Congrats to 14U Blizzards made thier 1st Finals apperance, from 30 teams, round by round, sweet 16, elite 8, final 4 and The Finals!!! Winnipeg Blizzards Represent!!!
